The council provides a number of leisure facilities such as the Carnival Hub, St. Crispin's Sports Centre and the Pinewood Leisure Centre. Pinewood is the base for over 20 clubs and associations. There is a King George V Playing Field behind St. Crispin's in memory of King George V. The local football team is Wokingham Town F.C.

Crispin School was formed in 1973 by the merger of Elmhurst Grammar School and Strode Secondary Modern School. [2] In 1999, the school was awarded specialist technology status. A second specialism in music was awarded in 2008. [3] Crispin School was converted to an academy in 2011, [2] under the provisions of the Academies Act 2010. [4]
