  2. Use meters as primary unit and feet/inches as alternate unit

    forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-lt-forum/use-meters-as-primary-unit-and-feet...

You have separate scaling in the Alternate units setting tab in dimstyle. I assume you have drawn in metric and you want to have the alternate in "feet-inches" style (sorry, am not familiar with Imperial units). Then, you must set the Scale Factor for Primary units to whatever number to produce a measurement of "1" for one meter (1 if 1unit=1m, 0.01 if 1unit=1cm, 0.001 if 1unit=1mm) and the ...

I would like to change the conversion factor of meters to feet to a more accurate value rather that 0.3048. In my place we use the meter to feet conversion with 3.2808333. It makes a lot difference when the decimals does not carry up to 7 decimal place.

    forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/converting-an-existing-dwg-from-meters-to...

You stated your drawing is in Meters and you need it to be in Architectural Feet. Scale your drawing using one of the following factors: ****1 meter = 3.28083989501312 foot.**** - Inverse = 1 foot = 0.3048 meter . After you have scaled the drawing to feet, your dimensions may need to be adjusted to that scale.

  7. Converting DEM surface from meters to feet - Autodesk Community

Thanks for your reply. This is a good description of how to import a DEM and convert the horizontal alignment. However, my problem is still the same. This process does not covert the vertical surface from meters to feet. The horizontal surface is correctly converted to feet, but the vertical remains in meters. BTW, the DEM I have is a GeoTIFF.

Also, the INSERT command is a base Autocad command, and base Autocad does not understand US Survey Feet. So any conversion it applies will be between meters and International Feet. Sinc

    forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/how-to-modify-surface-elevations-from...

The Lidar data is in UTM meters and my CAD drawing is in Minnesota state plane feet. I can create surfaces using the Lidar DEM files, but I'm having trouble re-projecting and converting the elevations from meters to feet. I can re-project using ArcMap, but I don't have the spatial analyst to convert the elevations from meters to feet.

Also some of the base information looks like it was create in Land Desktop. The contours that are displayed are a block that explodes to AEC_Contours. The is a Surface where all the display is turned off. This Surface is in Feet but matches the supposedly Metric elevations. This makes me suspicious of the how and why of this drawings creation.

  11. How many studs is there in a meter - Building Support - Roblox

    devforum.roblox.com/t/how-many-studs-is-there-in-a-meter/103417

According to the ROBLOX Blog, 1 meter is equal to 20 ROBLOX studs, so a stud is 5 centimeters, and a real-life ROBLOXian (that is 5 studs tall) would be 25 centimeters, about 10 inches tall. That’s not very helpful when you’re trying to build human-scaled things that fit with the proportions of the default character (such as buildings or cars).
