Saint Basil Academy is a residential institution for children and families in need run by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America in Garrison, New York, United States. Prior to 1997 it operated its own in-house school.
Saint Basil Academy was established in 1931 by the Sisters of Saint Basil. [2] On October 8, 2020, Saint Basil Academy announced that it will close its doors at the end of the 2020-2021 school year. The last class graduated on June 3, 2021.
The college was approved by the State Council of Education Department of Instruction on June 17, 1964. The legal governing body of Manor College is the board of trustees, which is composed of twenty-one members, including lay men and women from the business and professional communities and religious Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great.

The non-high school district 202, which included the elementary school districts 182 and 184, was dissolved in July 1956. The area from this district was divided between the East St. Louis school district and the Cahokia Unit School District 187, and therefore the East St. Louis district took students of all grade levels from the former 202 district.
