Our text shows us one of the greatest men of God in history stumbling near the finish line. His mission and one desire had been to lead God’s people into the Promised Land. But now he makes a single mistake and God tells him that he won’t be the one to lead Israel into the land. Numbers 20 is a sad chapter.
Numbers 20:6-13 teaches us about the importance of obedience, faith, and trust in God’s provision. It also reminds us of the need to honor God in all our actions and words. Let us learn from Moses’ mistake and strive to follow God wholeheartedly, trusting in His faithfulness and guidance in our lives.
