Duke University Chapel is a chapel located at the center of the campus of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, United States. It is an ecumenical Christian or all-faith chapel and the center of religion at Duke, and has connections to the United Methodist Church .
The first building was named "Fort Worth Hall" in honor of the seminary's new location. In 1925, the Baptist General Convention of Texas passed control of the seminary to the Southern Baptist Convention. The Department of Religious Education and the Department of Gospel Music were established within the seminary in 1915.
Located along Academy Road and Pinecrest Road, near the Duke golf course, the house sits on 436 acres in the Duke Forest, near Duke University West Campus.
