Bourbon Square Casino (formerly Silver Club and Bourbon Street Casino) was a casino and former hotel in Downtown Sparks, Nevada. The property operated until January 11, 2009, as Silver Club. The property reopened as Bourbon Square on August 1, 2013, and operated until February 5, 2015. It was demolished in 2018.
Formerly, State Route 648 continued westward through downtown Reno along Second Street to its terminus at West Fourth Street (SR 647, I-80 Business, Old US 40).By 2001, the highway was truncated to the current segment and a 0.360-mile (0.579 km) segment from Fourth Street east under the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.
The route currently comprises a portion of West Fourth Street in Reno and a short segment of Prater Way in Sparks. The route previously extended a greater distance east–west through Reno–Sparks, and was formerly designated as part of U.S. Route 40. View west along SR 647
The highway then intersects North Virginia Street and runs along the northern boundary of the University of Nevada, Reno campus. The route then intersects Clear Acre Lane before reaching an interchange with US 395. Looking east on SR 659 from Pyramid Way . Shortly after crossing over US 395, SR 659 enters the city of Sparks.
