The article does not address the current economy. Many people believe that the bushmen still live as hunter gatherers (which was stated as a claim in "The Gods Must be Crazy"). This is most emphatically not true and not possible given the relatively small area that the bushmen are allowed to occupy in Nyae Nyae.
