The Billboard Global 200 is a chart that ranks the best-performing songs globally. Its data, published by Billboard magazine and compiled by Luminate, is based on digital sales and online streaming from over 200 territories worldwide.
The chart is based on each song's weekly physical and digital sales collectively, the amount of airplay impressions it receives on American radio stations, and its audio and video streams on online digital music platforms. As of the chart dated February 8, four artists have charted at number one in 2025.
An asterisk (*) represents that a single is in the top ten as of the issue dated for the week of February 8, 2025. [1] Key ↑ – indicates single's top 10 entry was also its Hot 100 debut; The "weeks in top ten" column reflects each song's entire chart life, not just its run during 2025.
This page lists the songs that reached number one on the overall Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Hot R&B Songs, Hot Rap Songs and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts in 2025. Unlike the US-based Billboard Hot 100, the Global 200 does not have a "recurrent" rule, therefore allowing songs from any period in music history to chart. The recurrent rule on the Hot 100 indicates that descending songs are removed once they fall below number 25 after 52 weeks, or once below number 50 after 20 weeks. [8]
