Lord of Scoundrels is a Regency romance novel by American author Loretta Chase. Published in 1995 by Avon Books , it is the third installment of her Débauchés series. Set in 1828, the story follows the Marquess of Dain, an aristocrat known as "Lord Beelzebub " and the "Lord of Scoundrels" for his unscrupulous, immoral behavior.

The novel opens in 1821, when 21-year-old Michael Lawler, Marquess of Bourne, wagers his entire inheritance in a card game - and loses it all to his former guardian. The book resumes 10 years later. Bourne has become a co-owner of The Fallen Angel, a gambling club in London.

As of June 2015, the only 3-star review Heath earned from Romantic Times Book Reviews was for The Last Wicked Scoundrel, in which they felt the romance was "sometimes overshadowed by the chilling mystery at the heart of the story, and fans of the series may wish for more cameos by Heath’s scoundrels, in a happier setting."
