ICI PARIS XL is a beauty chain founded in the late 1960s in Belgium. The name ICI PARIS XL means 'This is Paris' -- which happens to be the same slogan that the Paris Saint-Germain football club uses -- and was derived from the train trips that were undertaken by the founders on their way to buy perfume from Paris.
The prizes for this cycle included a modelling contract with Modelmasters The Agency valued at €75,000, a cover feature for Grazia magazine, replacing the sponsorship of the show's previous magazine, Glamour, a four-month contract to be the new face of the ICI Paris XL beauty channel, and a brand new Citroën sponsored by ICI Paris XL.
The first Kruidvat was opened in September 1975 by Ed During and Dick Siebrand. Kruidvat Holding also owned ICI Paris XL, and Trekpleister , in the Netherlands and Belgium. Kruidvat had offers of low-priced CDs and books in the past. These usually involved the re-release of pre-existing material, but the company also released new recordings.

Ici Paris is a French magazine, founded in 1941. During World War II it was a journal of the resistance with editors such as Raymond Burgard, Émile Coornaert, Suzanne Feingold, Marietta Martin, Henri de Montfort and Paul Petit. In 1986 it had a circulation of 700,000 copies and in 2006, a more modest circulation of 405,000 copies.
