Erzurum (Armenian: Կարին, romanized: Karin; [1] Kurdish: Erzîrom [2]) is a city in eastern Anatolia, Turkey. It is the largest city and capital of Erzurum Province and is 1,900 meters (6,233 feet) above sea level.
Oltu stone, sometimes called also "Erzurum stone", is principally mined in the villages northeast of Oltu town, around Tutlu Dağı (Yasak Dağ) as well as in Alatarla, Hankaskışla and Çataksu villages. The mountainous, rough region with steep slopes is 1,600–1,800 m (5,200–5,900 ft) high. [1] [2]

Kazım Karabekir Stadium (Turkish: Kazım Karabekir Stadyumu) is a multi-purpose stadium in Erzurum, Turkey. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Erzurumspor F.K. The stadium currently holds 21,374 [2] people. The name of the stadium was changed to Kazim Karabekir Stadium on August 10, 2012. [3]
