Loop (ループ, Rūpu) is a horror novel by Japanese writer Koji Suzuki, and the third in his series of Ring.. The story revolves around a simulated reality, exactly the same as our own, known as the Loop: created to simulate the emergence and evolution of life.
One reviewer grouped it with the 2005 book The Golden Spruce as part of a new genre: an "arbobiography". [6] The book is written in the third person, omniscient, style. Grady's writing moderates Suzuki's characteristic rhetoric to create writing that is accessible, with a tone described as "a breezy casualness that welcomes the reader". [7]
