COTA completed a $76 million renovation of its McKinley Avenue Fixed-Route Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility. The 400,000 sq ft (37,000 m 2) facility is the larger and older (completed in 1974) of its two fixed-route operations facilities. In May 2013, COTA began operating its first set of CNG buses.
