James Anthony Traficant, Jr. (/ ˈ t r æ f ɪ k ə n t / TRAF-ih-kənt; May 8, 1941 – September 27, 2014) was an American politician who served as a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Ohio.
Lewis Center was founded around 1850 when the railroad was extended to that point. [6] The community was named after the family of William L. Lewis, who gave their land for a railroad station in exchange for the naming rights. [6] A post office called Lewis Centre was established in 1852, and the name was changed to Lewis Center in 1893.
