Subsequently, for Launceston, Reginald's Charter continues that distinction – "To all my men, French, English and Cornish".
Saint Piran's Flag (Cornish: Baner Peran) is the flag of Cornwall. The earliest known description of the flag, referred to as the Standard of Cornwall, was written in 1838. [1] It is used by all Cornish people as a symbol of their identity. [2] The flag is attributed to Saint Piran, a 5th-century Cornish abbot.

Saint Piran's Flag, a white cross on a black background is often seen in Cornwall. The Duchy of Cornwall shield of 15 gold bezants on a black field is also used. Because of these two symbols black, white and gold are considered colours symbolic of Cornwall. Saint Piran's Flag is the flag of Cornwall.
