The Moccasin Bluff site (also designated 20BE8) is an archaeological site located along the Red Bud Trail and the St. Joseph River north of Buchanan, Michigan.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, [1] and has been classified as a multi-component prehistoric site with the major component dating to the Late Woodland/Upper Mississippian period.
The Hiawatha Sportsman's Club's Manitou Lodge is sited on a bluff overlooking Naubinway and Lake Michigan. [2] The lodge is "an excellent example" of log construction. [2] It is still in original condition, and consists of a lobby and sleeping rooms. The main section is a gable-end structure with a low pitched roof, and contains the lobby.

Trunk Line Bridge No. 1 was the first bridge designed by Michigan Department of Transportation. The bridge was built in 1914 in response to the 1913 State Trunk Line Act passed by the Michigan Legislature. The bridge used to carry US 41/M-28 across the Pesheskee River near the river's mouth at Lake Michigamme, but has since been abandoned. 38
