Joelton is a semi-rural community of farms and suburban neighborhoods 25 minutes northwest of Nashville. Despite the rapid growth of the Nashville metropolitan area, the area where Joelton is located has remained predominantly rural. The park is home to the Quail Ridge Horseshoe Club and the National Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame and Museum. [4] The Hall of Fame and Museum moved to the park from its previous home in Joelton, Tennessee, in 2006. It has exhibits relating to the history of the game as well as 32 indoor and outdoor horseshoe pitching courts. [5] [6]

The Hermitage is a historical museum located in Davidson County, Tennessee, United States, 10 miles (16 km) east of downtown Nashville in the neighborhood of Hermitage.The 1,000-acre (400 ha)+ site was owned by President Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United States, from 1804 until his death at the Hermitage in 1845.
