The Benjamin Moore Estate, also known as Chelsea, is a historic estate located at Muttontown in Nassau County, New York. It was designed in 1923–1924 by architect William Adams Delano (1874–1960) for Benjamin Moore and Alexandra Emery. The manor house is an eclectic Chinese and French Renaissance style inspired dwelling.

Longthorpe was formerly a chapelry in Peterborough-St. John-the-Baptist parish, [9] from 1 November 1908 Longthorpe was a civil parish in its own right (being formed from Peterborough Without) until it was abolished on 1 April 1929 and merged with Peterborough. [10] In 1921 the parish had a population of 274. [11]

Thorpe Hall at Longthorpe in the city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, is a Grade I listed building, [1] built by Peter Mills between 1653 and 1656, for the Lord Chief Justice, Oliver St John. The house is unusual in being one of the very few mansions built during the Commonwealth period. [2]
The house is reputed to be one of the nation's most haunted homes. [2] In 1801, the house was inherited by Henry Hannes Willis, who changed his name to Stephens in order to inherit. [3] Henry added the billiard room and added panelling and carvings to many of the rooms. [4] The house has been owned by the Lowsley-Williams family since 1891.
