The TaiwanBeer HeroBears (Chinese: 台灣啤酒英熊) were a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in Taipei City.They had competed in the T1 League and played their home games at the University of Taipei Tianmu Campus Gymnasium (2021–23), Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium (2022), and Fu Jen Catholic University Chung Mei Auditorium (2023).
The 2019–20 ABL season was the tenth season of competition in the ASEAN Basketball League. The regular season started on 16 November 2019 and was set to end on 28 March 2020. [1] On 15 July 2020, the league announced the cancellation of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. No league title was awarded. [2] [3]
Norths Bears is a NBL1 East club based in Sydney, New South Wales. The club fields a team in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 East. The club is a division of Northern Suburbs Basketball Association (NSBA), the major administrative basketball organisation in North Sydney. The Bears play their home games at North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre.
They have competed in the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL) and play their home games at the Taoyuan Arena. The Leopards became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season since the 2021–22 season , and became one of the seven teams of the inaugural TPBL season since the 2024–25 season .
Each team is able to register 9 to 14 local players, 3 to 4 import players, 1 foreign student player or Asian import player, and 2 heritage players. [18] [19] Each team can sign a foreign student player with the contract until 2025–26 season. The eligibility of the foreign student player is same as import player. [18]
