  2. G19.4: use Gen 4 or Gen 5 mags? - Glock Talk

    www.glocktalk.com/threads/g19-4-use-gen-4-or-gen-5-mags.1998823

Gen 5 magazines don't work in the 19X as the Gen 5 mags have that silly dingleberry of a ledge on the baseplate. They work in every other Glock otherwise, including the 19 Gen 4, so, no reason they can't be used. Glock Certified Armorer. GOA Life Member. ssweet97 and Toocool45.

  3. glock 19 gen 3 gen 4 slide difference

    www.glocktalk.com/threads/glock-19-gen-3-gen-4-slide-difference.1688125

Welcome to Glock Talk. The important difference between the Gen4 G19 slide and pre-Gen4 G19 slides is the recoil spring assembly boss at the front of the slide. Because the Gen4 G19 uses a captive dual-spring RSA, and the pre-Gen4 models use a captive single-spring RSA, the Gen4 slide RSA boss is wider and will NOT fit pre-Gen4 frames.

This would provide superior barrel finish and a longer throat. In the case of my Gen 4 barrel it would also provide significantly tighter tolerance (between lug and locking block). I’m probably going go switch barrels and do some testing. Accuracy, ejection, etc, etc. BigMoneyGrip.

  7. Glock 9mm ejector differences and performance comparison...

Glock 19 gen 3 Ejection Pattern Comparisons (336, 30274, 47021) The 336 was erratic from 2-6 o’clock, with one even going out the left side of the gun. The 30274 was better, but ejection was a bit weak, 4-5 o’clock.

They all are interchangeable (except for the G19X) Your G45 mags will absolutely work in a gen 4 Glock. $499 is a very good price for a refurb Gen 4 G34.

A gen 4 19 recoil spring won't work in a gen 3 19...gen 3 recoil springs cost less then 10 bucks... Shooting both side by side you would be hard pressed to feel a difference. 19 OD gen3, 19,26 OD gen 4,gen 3 22,23,26,27, 19X. U.S. ARMY.

The Gen 5 G17 barrels will not work in earlier Gen G17 pistols. Glock changed the locking lugs with the Gen 5. The GeN 5 G17 has the same locking lugs as G19 barrels. Plus the recoil spring assemblies are different lengths too. The Gen 5 G17 uses a longer RSA.

  11. Glock 19 4th Gen w/ trigger job | Glock Talk

I have a 2 month old G19 GEN 4. I have tried 3.5 connectors wolf and the Glock minus. 6 lb trigger spring, polish job and an aftermarket Phampton trigger for $100.00. The pistol is basically back to stock right now with the exception of some light sanding on the stock trigger and safety so it is easier on the finger.
