The 65th Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature was held on September 1, 2015, at The Peninsula Manila in Makati to commemorate the memory of Don Carlos Palanca Sr. through an endeavor that would promote education and culture in the country. Out of 895 entries, only 57 Filipino literary writers and artists emerged as victors.
A total of 54 writers, 30 of whom were first-time awardees, [3] were chosen as this year's recipients. The total number of writing categories awarded was 20. Luis P.
