Jason Kent Bateman (born January 14, 1969) [1] [2] is an American actor and director. He is known for his roles as Michael Bluth in the Fox / Netflix sitcom Arrested Development (2003–2019) and Marty Byrde in the Netflix crime drama series Ozark (2017–2022), as well as for his work in numerous comedy films.
In 2003, Emerick was cast in four episodes of Casualty as Mike Bateman, the fireman husband of Tess Bateman (Suzanne Packer). Emerick and Packer had co-starred as a married couple on Brookside. [2] He has also had roles in New Tricks, The Bill, Benidorm, Waterloo Road, Cold Feet and Coronation Street. He has appeared in films such as Layer Cake.
