The Church of the Epiphany is a parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 373 Second Avenue at the corner of East 22nd Street, in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. It operates a co-educational PreK–8 Catholic school and Religious Education program.
The Ordinary Form of the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church regards the time after Epiphany as a subset of the Christmas season. The Christmas season ends on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, a feast typically celebrated on the Sunday after Epiphany.

Epiphany had outgrown the original building. The church was split in half and each section was placed on barrels and logs and pushed up the hill to Naples and Amazon Streets. The sections were set twenty-three feet apart and new construction joined the two halves. The church could now seat 480 people.

While the envelope of the building was rather plain and lacking detail, the portico, elevated above street level, featured a Doric colonnade with associated triglyph/metope details and flat pediment.
