The Carina Nebula [7] or Eta Carinae Nebula [8] (catalogued as NGC 3372; also known as the Great Carina Nebula [9]) is a large, complex area of bright and dark nebulosity in the constellation Carina, located in the Carina–Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
NGC 3324 is an open cluster in the southern constellation Carina, located northwest of the Carina Nebula (NGC 3372) [3] [4] at a distance of 9,100 ly (2,800 pc) from Earth. [2] It is closely associated with the emission nebula IC 2599 , also known as Gum 31 . [ 5 ]

HD 93250 is marked above centre in this mosaic of the Carina Nebula region. HD 93250 is one of the brightest stars in the region of the Carina Nebula.It is only 7.5 arc-minutes from the famous Eta Carinae2,350 [7] and HD 93250 is considered to be a member of the same loose open cluster Trumpler 16, although it appears closer to the more compact Trumpler 14.
NGC 3293 is an open cluster in the Carina constellation.It was discovered by Nicolas-Louis de Lacaille in 1751. [4] It consists of more than 100 stars brighter than 14th magnitude in a 10 arc minute field, the brightest of which are blue supergiants of apparent magnitude 6.5 and 6.7.

NGC 2867 (also known as Caldwell 90) is an elliptical [5] Type II [7] planetary nebula in the southern constellation of Carina, just over a degree to the NNW of the star Iota Carinae. [8] It was discovered by John Herschel on April 1, 1834.
