Discovery Kids on NBC was an American children's programming block that aired on NBC from October 5, 2002 [1] to September 2, 2006. The block was produced under a time-lease agreement with Discovery Kids, and features a mixture of live-action and animated series originated on the cable network that met educational programming requirements defined by the Federal Communications Commission.
The series aired on Discovery Kids and premiered in the United States on November 1, 2003 (along with Kenny the Shark). The final episode aired on January 13, 2007. A TV movie entitled Tutenstein: Clash of the Pharaohs aired on October 11, 2008, ending the series. After the series ended, reruns continued to air on The Hub until December 30, 2012.
