I keep getting the following: "The local print spooler is not running. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine." I get this whether I try to print or run print properties. I can print to the printer(s) from a Windows 10 machine (laptop) with no problems so I don't think it's the printer(s) (Canon Pro-300 and HP Office Jet).
Click the Windows logo then type control panel then click the search result. On control panel, click view device and printers under Hardware and sound. Next, check if you can see your printer under printers. If yes, right-click your printer then click See what's printing.
I have Windows 10 with a Canon PIXMA TS6050 (latest updates, latest drivers, tried both Canon driver and Windows driver). Whenever I launch a print job, the printer get stuck at "please wait, processing" and doesn't print the page. When I launch Windows troubleshooting on the printer it doesn't detect any problem.
In Control Panel open Devices and Printers, right click printer to delete Printer and any scanner or fax of the same name. Restart PC. 5) Go to the printer model’s Support Downloads webpage above to download and install the latest full software package. Now is also the time to check for any newer printer firmware to install which matters a lot.
