Cecil Roy Luining (June 28, 1931 – November 20, 1998) was a Canadian football player who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He won the Grey Cup with them in 1958, 1959, 1961 and 1962. [ 1 ] After his football, he was a dairy retailer, a member of the Selkirk City Council, and president of the Gull Lake Ratepayers Association. [ 2 ]
Wendy Ross married Michael Ross on June 8, 1997. [3] Michael Ross died of colon cancer in September 2019. [3] Ross is Jewish and is an active member of the inclusion committee at her synagogue, Beth Am Israel, in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania. [8] Ross is the mother of two boys. [9]

Audrey Florice Durell "Wendy" Drummond Sale-Barker [1] [2] (1903 – 21 December 1994) was a British alpine skiing champion and prominent aviator. She captained the British women's team at the 1936 Winter Olympics. She earned her pilot's licence from the Royal Aero Club in 1929 and embarked on a flight to South Africa in 1932.
While Ross was a student at the University of Maryland, her historiography instructor Walter Rundell Jr. asked her to teach a seminar on oral history. [4] [5] [7] Her teaching career at the University of Maryland spanned from 1972-1987. [1] [2] [4] [7] [8] In 1976, Ross co-founded the Oral History Association of the Mid-Atlantic Region.
