Since then, the Eats option would not show up in my Driving Preferences, and I get no Eats requests. I've emailed and phoned support several times and each time they give me the standard response which is relog / reinstall / reboot.

Uber driver GPS navigation issue (Uber eats) It's been few months now that I can't select the in-app navigation system from the uber driver app and Uber eats. I used to navigate with the in-app uber navigation system which is basically using Google maps. On the new versions of the app, this option is not offered to me anymore.
