Rixeyville is an unincorporated community in Culpeper County, Virginia, United States. Rixeyville is located on Virginia State Route 229 7.4 miles (11.9 km) north of Culpeper. Clifton is a historic home and farm located near Rixeyville, Culpeper County, Virginia. It was built around 1845, and is a two-story frame dwelling, built in the Greek Revival style, with wings constructed about 1850 and about 1910.
