Waldsee enjoys a continuing sister city relationship with the German town of Bad Waldsee, located in Baden-Württemberg. Horst Köhler, the former President of the Federal Republic of Germany, was the official patron (Schirmherr) of Waldsee, as was his predecessor, Roman Herzog.
