Jalama Beach County Park is a seaside campground and park located at the mouth of Jalama Creek in Santa Barbara County, California , approximately 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Lompoc, California , off California State Route 1 .

[7] It is located along the coast of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, stretching for 116 miles (187 km) from just south of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant in San Luis Obispo County southward to Naples Reef on the Gaviota Coast in Santa Barbara County.
The preserve is in south-west Santa Barbara County, California, with 8 miles (13 km) of coastline along the Gaviota Coast and 24,000 inland acres (9,700 ha). It is adjacent to protected marine areas. [2] The land touches the south and east sides of Jalama Beach County Park.

Point Conception State Marine Reserve (SMR) is a marine protected area that extends off of Point Conception on the Gaviota Coast in Santa Barbara County, California. The SMR covers 22.51 square miles (58.3 km 2). The SMR prohibits the take of any living marine resources.
