A canal allows boats to travel east to Lake Letta and by a series of canals a number of area lakes may be accessed from Little Bonnet Lake.

Lake Lotela is a natural freshwater lake in Highlands County, Florida. It is one of the county's larger lakes, with a surface area of 802-acre (3,250,000 m 2). Its maximum depth is 36 feet (11 m). It is at the southeast corner of Avon Park, Florida. Lake Lotela's largest part is circular.

Lake Easy is a natural freshwater lake with a 407-acre (1,650,000 m 2) surface area. The lake is somewhat oval in shape and sometimes has a small island in its southeast part, depending on the lake level at the time. Lake Easy is bounded on its north by the incorporated village of Highland Park, which is also a golf resort.
