The Christina School District is a Delaware public school district located primarily in the Newark area and a non-contiguous portion of Wilmington. The district office is located in the Drew Educational Support Center in Wilmington, with Dan Shelton as the current superintendent.
Founded in 1963, Christiana High School is one of three traditional high schools in the Christina School District, the other two being Newark High School and Glasgow High School. [9] [10] It is located outside of Newark near the University of Delaware. The building was designed by Wilmington architects Martin & Wason. [11]
When the Christina School District was created in 1981, the location was absorbed by the new district and continued to be used as the district headquarters until 2004. The building is currently owned by the University of Delaware , which renovated the building in 2011 and currently serves as its primary bookstore. [ 10 ]

Glasgow High School (GHS), located in unincorporated New Castle County, Delaware, is one of the three traditional public high schools in Christina School District. [2] [3] GHS serves portions of Glasgow, Bear, Newark, and Wilmington. [4] [5] [6]
