Between cost, design, and features there’s never been a good reason to buy one over a Whirlpool design. LG does have one of the best repair programs though, flat fee and everything’s in stock. There is a 15 year warranty and they can do a virtual consult with pictures. I did inquire about general prices which seemed reasonable and they said they can get the job done in one day.
