On May 6, 1969, Loop 9 was designated from I-20 north, east, south, west, and northwest back to I-20. On October 21, 1977, Loop 9 was cancelled and portions became SH 161 and SH 190 the same day. The Loop 9 designation was restored on June 29, 2017, to an unbuilt highway from I-35E to I-45. [5]

The A-train is a hybrid rail service in Denton County, Texas, United States. The service is operated by Rio Grande Pacific [1] under the authority of the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA). The 21-mile (34 km) line runs parallel to Interstate 35E between Denton and Carrollton.
FM 423 was first designated on July 2, 1945. Its original routing was from Lewisville to the former Lake Dallas dam along what was then SH 24.Upon completion of the Lewisville Dam and the creation of Lewisville Lake in 1955, the route's alignment was shifted to the east, connecting FM 720 (itself an older alignment of SH 24) to SH 121. The highway's importance grew after Compaq, a former information technology company, chose to locate its headquarters near at the intersection of SH 249 and Louetta Rd in Harris County in the 1980s.
