San Beda College of Law is the law school college under the San Beda University, a private, Roman Catholic university run by the Benedictine monks in the Philippines. [ 1 ] The main campus, educational, and administrative offices are located at Mendiola Street in San Miguel, Manila .
In 1948, Martinez formally established the San Beda College of Law. From 1952 to 1957, and 1960 to 1961, the San Beda Law School earned the distinction of producing a 100% passing record during the bar examinations. San Beda College became one of the founding schools of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines.
Fr. Chupungco led the increase of higher education programs offered by the school. He opened a School of Law in 2005. However, the Law school was not an academic unit of The San Beda College as it was an extension of the School of Law of San Beda University Manila. Eventually in 2009, the Law School became part of San Beda College. [4]

Ms. Aquino was advised to take her last two years of law school in UP by Colegio de San Agustin Law Dean Felipe Ysmael. Coincidentally, Mr. Ysmael (a UP Law graduate himself) placed number 1 in the 1917 Bar Exams. Since Ms. Aquino only took her last two years of law at UP, she can't be certified as an official UP law graduate. [2]
