Kazuma approaches them, to help sort out the quarrel. Turns out Ran isn't actually Kazuma's fan. Ran was put on a quest to motivate Kazuma and his party to do more quests.

After Wiz teaches Kazuma the Drain Touch skill, the party takes on a request to exorcise evil spirits from a mansion where they can stay during the winter. That night, Kazuma and Megumin find themselves on the run from an army of possessed dolls while also desperately needing the bathroom. Aqua saves the day again with her Turn Undead spells.
As Kazuma travels to a nearby shrine, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness follow him to try and convince him to change his mind. On the way, they encounter a wounded girl, which Kazuma warns is a monster called a Tranquility Girl in disguise that presents a facade of innocence to lure her prey.
