(What's the Story) Morning Glory? is the second studio album by the English rock band Oasis.Released on 2 October 1995 by Creation Records, it was produced by Owen Morris and the group's lead guitarist and chief songwriter Noel Gallagher.
"Morning Glory" is a song by the English rock band Oasis, written by Noel Gallagher and included on the band's second album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, in September 1995. It was given a commercial single release only in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, and it was also a radio single in the United States and Canada.
The album was the first in a decade not to feature drumming by Alan White, marking the recording debut of Starkey. The record was generally hailed as the band's best effort since Morning Glory by fans and critics alike, spawning two UK number one singles: "Lyla" and "The Importance of Being Idle", whilst "Let There Be Love" entered at number 2.
