Nuno Duarte Gil Mendes Bettencourt (born September 20, 1966) is a Portuguese-American [1] guitarist. He became known as the lead guitarist of the Boston rock band Extreme . Bettencourt has recorded a solo album and has founded rock bands including Mourning Widows , DramaGods , and Satellite Party .
Bettencourt was born in 1996 in Sydney, Australia, the daughter of Portuguese-American guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and Australian singer Suze DeMarchi. She lived in Boston and Los Angeles as a child, before returning to Sydney. Currently she splits her time between LA and Sydney. [5]
