Maxime Tchoutakian was born in France and developed an early passion for tennis. He pursued his education in the United States, competing in collegiate tennis while studying at the University of California. (UCLA). [1] Tchoutakian turned professional in 2010 and competed on the ATP and ITF circuits.

He was named ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) division 1 National Coach of the Year and is a member of ITA Hall of Fame.
