Mighty Oaks are an indie/folk rock trio made up of Ian Hooper (US), Claudio Donzelli (Italy) and Craig Saunders (UK). They formed in 2010 and are based in Berlin. [ 2 ] According to Allmusic , the group releases "tight, three-part harmonies and effusive, largely acoustic-driven folk anthems."

The song was sung by Steve Sanders as a member of The Mighty Oaks Band (the stage band for The Oak Ridge Boys) as a band feature from 1982-1986. Thomas released the albums From Mighty Oaks (1975) [33] and Hopes, Wishes and Dreams (1976) [34] after the band temporarily broke up in 1974. [7] During this period he earned his nickname 'The Flute'. Within the band he was also known as 'Tomo' (pronounced tOm-O). The band reformed in 1977 for Octave, which was released in 1978. [35]

From Mighty Oaks is the first solo album by Moody Blues flautist Ray Thomas together with Nicky James, Trevor Jones, Dave Potts, John Jones and Mike Moran.It was originally released in July 1975 and reissued on Compact Disc in August 1989.
