Health is an American industrial/noise rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band currently consists of drummer B.J. Miller, vocalist and guitarist Jake Duzsik, and bassist and producer John Famiglietti.
Famiglietti is a member of the industrial rock band Health. He is joined in the band with Jake Duzsik and Benjamin Jared Miller. Health released its latest album, "Rat Wars," in late 2023.
The album was conceived after the band put together the second Disco4 album remotely. Vocalist and guitarist Jake Duzsik initially considered naming it Outer Dark, after the novel by Cormac McCarthy, but eventually settled on Rat Wars, the title of a track from their previous album Vol. 4: Slaves of Fear; [1] the band compared the situation to The Doors' Waiting for the Sun.
Slaves of Fear received a score of 70 out of 100 on review aggregator Metacritic based on twelve critics' reviews, indicating "generally favorable" reception. [9] Under the Radar ' s Dom Gourlay described it as making "despair and desolation the band’s calling card", and Exclaim! stated that the "grimness of the lyrics works".
