Prince Hours (Korean: 궁S; Hanja: 宮S; RR: Gung S; lit. "Palace S") is a 2007 South Korean romantic comedy television series, starring Seven, Heo Yi-jae, Kang Doo and Park Shin-hye. [1] It is a spin-off of the 2006 series Goong (also known as Princess Hours), both were directed by Hwang In-roi and produced by Group Eight.
Filming continued despite Group 8 facing lawsuits due to the unlawful use of Goong in the title. [8] However, MBC has looked into this issue with Eight Peaks and have stated that the channel station and original production company both own the rights of the name. [9] Goong S will still be used for this season, with the subtitle of "Prince Who".
In 2007, she got her big break when she was cast in the female leading role in Prince Hours (also known as Goong S). She and Seven played childhood best friends whose lives are changed when he turns out to be a member of the Korean royal family. Unlike its predecessor Princess Hours, Goong S received low ratings.
