Khost is the provincial administrative seat in eastern Afghanistan. Being close to the border with Pakistan, Khost straddles an important transport corridor. Alizai (Urdu:علی زئی) is a town in the Lower Kurram Valley in the Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
