The 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, will be held from February 14 to 23 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario. [1] [2] The winning team will represent Canada at the 2025 World Women's Curling Championship at the Uijeongbu Indoor Ice Rink in Uijeongbu, South Korea. [3]

As such, the tournament was officially renamed the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in 2007. Until 2018, the format was a round robin of 12 teams. Starting with the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts there have been more than twelve eligible teams; therefore a pre-qualification tournament was held to trim the field to twelve.
At the 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Chislett team played in a pre-qualifying event, where they scored an historic win in their first ever game, against British Columbia's Karla Thompson team. [3] The team lost their next two matches however, and did not qualify for the main tournament.

The Quebec Scotties Tournament of Hearts was again cancelled due to the pandemic and Team St-Georges were once again selected to represent Quebec at the national women's championship. [18] The team could not replicate their successful run from 2021, finishing the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts with a 3–5 record. [19]
They were unable to qualify for the 2023 British Columbia Scotties Tournament of Hearts, however, going 0–3 in the open qualifier. [ 8 ] In 2024, Cotter competed in her first Canadian women's championship as alternate for the Corryn Brown rink who earned a wildcard spot. [ 9 ]
