Articles about a given region use that region's variety of English. Otherwise, the first variety used by any given editor is retained by succeeding editors. The talk page may have a banner indicating which variety is already established, or the article may have a template like {{ Use British English }} at the top of the wikitext.

While an entire page can be deleted only via the deletion process (ultimately completed by an administrator), even a single unregistered editor can boldly remove part of a page.

Articles older than 90 days are automatically indexed. [1] The __NOINDEX__ magic word and the {{}} template do not work on them. Articles younger than 90 days are not indexed, unless they have been patrolled and do not have the __NOINDEX__ magic word or the {{}} template on them (or a template that transcludes the {{}} template, such as the speedy deletion templates).
The moss project seeks to find and remove the furry green typos that have been growing on Wikipedia articles. It uses a python script named moss and written by User:Beland to automatically find misspellings, mistakes in English grammar, violations of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style, and confusing or broken wiki markup.
Read the article's talk page, which may provide reasons why the article should or should not be deleted. Check that what you wish to delete is an article. Templates, categories, images, redirects and pages not in the main article space (including user and Wikipedia namespace pages) have their own deletion processes separate from AfD.
Empty sections look unprofessional, just like "Under construction" signage on Web pages. If you don't have anything to put in a section, don't create that section. If you see an empty section, delete the heading. If you find an article that doesn't cite its sources, don't add a section for footnotes just in case.
