Thomas Lee (born Thomas Lee Bass; October 3, 1962) [1] is an Greek-American musician who co-founded and plays drums for the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. He also founded rap metal band Methods of Mayhem and has pursued solo musical projects.
Mötley Crüe was formed in 1981 by bass guitarist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, who were later joined by lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, [ 1 ] including 25 million in the US.

The nucleus of the group first came together in early 1981, when former Suite 19 guitarist/lead vocalist Greg Leon and drummer Tommy Lee decided to form a new band.
