Thomas Schaub Noonan (January 20, 1938 – June 15, 2001) was an American historian, Slavicist and anthropologist who specialized in early Russian history and Eurasian nomad cultures. Educated at Indiana University , Noonan was, for many years, a Professor of History at the University of Minnesota .
