Kutztown Golden Bears Men's basketball is a Division II basketball program who represents Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. They play all of their home games at Keystone Hall on campus. The basketball team was established in 1903. It is currently under the direction of head coach Bernie Driscoll, who has led the program since 2000.
From the mid-1930s up until 1961, Kutztown's sports teams were known as the Golden Avalanche. In 1961, Kutztown replaced the Golden Avalanche nickname with the Golden Bears as the university's nickname. In later years, Golden Bear mascots came into play. Before 2005, Goldie and Griz served as the KU Golden Bear mascots.

Reynolds was a member of the Kutztown Golden Bears for five seasons, redshirting as a true freshman. As a redshirt sophomore, he was named first-team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East after leading the conference with 1,189 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. [1]
