Midway on High, also known as Midway Bar and Restaurant or simply Midway, is a bar located in Columbus, Ohio, adjacent to the main campus of Ohio State University. Directly across the street from the Ohio Union , the High Street bar has been open since 2012 and since its opening has been owned by local firm A&R Creative.
For a number of years, the bar has been named one of "The Best Bars in America" by Esquire Magazine. [3] [4] [5] A number of well-known acts have performed at the Tree Bar including The Rosebuds, Times New Viking, Phantogram, Doug Gillard of Guided by Voices, Tim Easton, Two Cow Garage, Watershed and Joseph Genaro of The Dead Milkmen.

The building was built in 1917 for the Citizens Trust and Savings Company. It currently houses the Citizens, 63 apartment units managed by Drucker & Falk. It also houses Veritas, one of Columbus's fine dining restaurants, as well as a cocktail bar, The Citizens Trust, run by the same owners. [2]
